Holy Hour and Benediction

My Dear Friends,

It was wonderful to welcome Bp. Alan Hopes to the parish last Friday evening to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation. 28 of our young people received the sacrament, one of the largest groups we have had for many years. The Mass went extremely well and was a truly prayerful occasion; and one I feel sure the newly confirmed will remember with joy.

Bp. Alan thoroughly enjoyed his visit and asked me to express, on his behalf, his continued prayers and good wishes for us all here at St. Greg's. He looks forward to coming to see us again very soon!

Please continue to pray for the newly confirmed as well as for the children of our parish who are making their first Holy Communion over these weeks.

Finally I would ask you also to remember in your prayers our team of Catechists. They work tirelessly to communicate the Faith to the next generation, and although there is always room for more people to volunteer for this task, the ones we have are tremendous - thank you!

Have a truly blessed week,

THE GOSPEL OF LIFE

SYRO-MALABAR MASS AT ST. RAPHAEL'S - YEADING

due to the large number of Syro-Malabar migrants in our diocese, the first celebration of the Syro-Malabar Mass will be held at St Raphael's on the Feast of Pentecost, June 4th at 4.00 pm. By kind permission of Bp. Alan Hopes and Fr John Welsh the Parish Priest.
