The Sacrifice of Isaac

God's Gift To Us: His Son

Abraham was prepared to give God his only son,
Isaac in sacrifice. God would do no less!

"Listen to Him."

My Dear Friends,

Please note that the Lenten and Diocesan meditation and study group times have changed slightly! We will continue to meet on Friday evenings after the Stations of the Cross, but we shall also meet at an earlier time each Friday - at 1.30 pm - this will allow others who have expressed an interest to be there before collecting children from school. If you missed last week then just read the relevant chapter in the booklets and do come along.

Friday of this coming week is also St. Patrick's Day. As we have done in years past, there will be an opportunity to get together after Mass, in the church hall, for a cup of 'strengthened' coffee!!

Finally there is to be a sale of First Communion wares this weekend in the parish hall. Doors open at 1 pm and close at 5 pm. For further information you may wish to look at the notice on the notice board in the porch of the church or hall.

Have a truly blessed week,
