PLEASE NOTE THAT TIMES OF CONFESSION BEFORE EASTER
MAY BE FOUND IN THE SPECIAL HOLY WEEK LEAFLET.

My Dear Friends,

We now enter the most important week of the entire year for us as Christians - Holy Week. These holy days allow us to draw closer to our Lord as he goes up to Jerusalem to suffer and to die for our sins, and to rise again in glory on the third day. We can never be worthy of His sacrifice for us, but at least we are able to journey with Him from the Upper Room to Calvary, and then on to the glory of the Easter morn. Please be sure to take a Holy Week leaflet with you at the end of Mass today so that you know exactly when our services are to take place.

There is still the opportunity for us to remember our loved ones at the altar of repose on Maundy Thursday, through our "Lilies of Remembrance". Please write the name of the individual or couple you wish to be remembered clearly on the list at the back of church and take an envelope for your donation. Please return this as soon as possible.

There is still plenty of time to come to Confession before Easter, the times will be found on the special Holy week leaflet. May we all have a truly Blessed and prayerful Holy Week.

Have a truly blessed week,

P.S. Please note Mass time on Tuesday! This is to allow plenty of time to get to the Cathedral

HOLY WEEK POSTERS

The special posters (courtesy of the Knights of St. Columba) for you to display in the front windows of your homes are available at the back of church today. Do be sure to take one with you, and display it prominently in the front window of your home to remind our world that this is Holy Week!

WALSINGHAM PILGRIMAGE

There will be a one day pilgrimage from St Gregory the Great on Sunday May 21st. A list is available at the back of the church for those wishing to go. Price £10 per person. All enquiries from Margaret Corbett on 01895 631814
