Holy Hour and Benediction

My Dear Friends,

After many years of wonderful and dedicated service, Terri Anderson, who looks after the Children's Liturgy Rota as well as the parish "Walk With Me" programme has taken the decision to take a well-deserved break.

Naturally enough I am very sad to see her give up this work, (though thankfully this is not until the end of the summer) but it also leaves us with a very serious problem - someone to follow in her footsteps!

Without a doubt this is one of the most important tasks the parish has. To provide good catechesis for those of our children who are not in Catholic schools. Perhaps God is calling you to this ministry?

Please, do give the highest priority to thinking about this, and let us pray that the Holy Spirit will guide someone to take this on.

God Bless,

ST. SWITHUN WELLS.

The church of the Sacred Heart at Ruislip Manor are once again hosting a series of talks on Tuesday evenings on issues that lie at the heart of our Catholic Faith. More details may be found in the porch.

THE GOSPEL OF LIFE

Our parish school are looking for someone to take on the job of cleaner for 11.5 hours a week. The job pays £7.21 an hour. If you are interested please telephone the school on 01895 671960 for an application form.

ST THOMAS MORE

Fr Michael Connor and the parish of St Thomas More at Eastcote, cordially invite you to come along to their parish Bar-B-Que to celebrate their Patronal Festival on Sunday 25th June from 2 - 6 pm. Please let Fr Michael know, for catering purposes, if you are able to come.

40 HOURS DEVOTION

St John Fisher, North Harrow, Mon 19th - Wed 21st June. A number of truly excellent preachers have been arranged for these days. Please try to find time to attend for some of this important devotion. Further details in the porch.

LOOKING AHEAD.

On Sunday 9th July Fr. Dennis will be celebrating 25 Years of Ministry. The morning Mass will be at 11.00 am and will be followed by a parish lunch in the grounds of the church. Do make a note in your diary! Please note that there will be NO 10 am Mass on that day.

DON'T FORGET REFRESHMENTS IN THE CHURCH HALL AFTER THE MORNING MASS ON SUNDAY.
SEE YOU THERE!!
