1st Mass of Sunday with Children's Liturgy

My Dear Friends,

Today we celebrate our 'feast of title', and give thanks to Almighty God for the life and example of St. Gregory the Great.

We welcome at the altar Fr Neville Luis who is visiting the parish for a few days. I am particularly grateful to him for saying the weekday Masses this coming week whilst I am away on retreat. I know we will make him very welcome and trust he will enjoy his visit with us.

What a joy it is to see our recent 1st Holy Communion children in all their finery! This is a great day for them as well. Let us hold them, and all our community, before God in prayer.

May we continue to witness joyfully and well here in South Ruislip and so bring others to love and worship the Lord Jesus Christ.

I do hope you all have healthy appetites for there will be an enormous amount of food to consume. As always the parish comes up trumps on such occasions. Many thanks to all those who have worked so hard to prepare for our festival Let's have a truly holy and happy day.

God Bless.

P.S. Please note that the inner church door will need to be locked, for security reasons, after the morning Mass each day this coming week.
