My Dear Friends,
Tuesday of this week is the feast of All Saints, a Holy Day of Obligation, and we should all be at Mass for this feast. Please note the special times provided. At 8.00 pm on All Hallows E'en (31st), and at 9.00 and 10.00 am on the day itself. Please note that we welcome the children from our school to the 10.00 am Mass.
There are two Masses for All Souls day the following day, November 2nd, they are at 10.00 am and 8.00 pm. As mentioned last weekend, there is to be a Grand Christmas Draw on 18th December. You will find books of raffle tickets on the ends of your pews - PLEASE DO TAKE SOME WITH YOU AND SELL THEM!! This is our first fundraising activity to pay for the new church lighting, which we hope will be installed in time for Christmas. If anyone has suitable gifts to be supplementary prizes could they please speak to Gillian as soon as possible.
My mum has asked me to say thank you to you all for your many cards, gifts and good wishes on the occasion of her 93rd birthday last week.

A NIGHT UNDER THE STARS
On 16th Nov at 7.30 pm. "Spirit of London" The Passage (the charity founded by Cardinal Hume to help the homeless) will be holding its largest fundraising event of the year. A "star studded" evening of Music and Comedy, hosted by Rory Bremner, and packed with many other celebrities of stage and screen. DO COME ALONG!! See notice in the porch for further details.
NOVEMBER DEAD LIST
November is the month devoted to prayer for the Holy Souls. There are envelopes and prayer lists in the porch for your use. Please return them with your offerings for these Masses to the Presbytery.
