My Dear Friends,
I am as always very grateful to Fr Edward Obi for coming over to look after the parish whilst mum and I are away on holiday in Malta. I have no doubt that, as always, you will make him very, very welcome.
Fr. Edward will be here for the whole of my time away. I do hope that you will be able to offer him some hospitality whilst he is in residence? I shall, of course, be thinking of you all and will remember you at Our Lady's shrine on the island of Gozo.
We also welcome this weekend Fr Paul Allerton of the Montfort Missionaries for this years' annual diocesan appeal. Fr Paul will be staying in the Presbytery with Fr Edi.
There are still a significant number of the APF magazines Mission Today available in the church porch. Please be sure to take a copy. The work of the APF is vital to the pontifical mission of the Church and well worth reading all about.

Looking Ahead! Sunday July 15th - Special Mass at 3 pm

"RED CAPS" CAR - WASHING WEEKEND 23rd/24TH JUNE
Our Red Caps will be washing cars from 3 pm on Saturday 23rd and on Sunday morning 24th to help raise funds for their trip to Lourdes. Please come and have your car washed and help support our youngsters.
THERE IS COFFEE IN THE PARISH HALL AFTER THE MORNING MASS ON SUNDAY, DO COME AND JOIN US!!
