My Dear Friends,
It is always wonderful to have a few days holiday, but equally it is great to be back home! As always I would like to take the opportunity of thanking Fr Edi for his kindness and care of our parish family: we look forward to welcoming him again very soon.
Please note that the annual "Peter's Pence" collection to aid the charitable works of our Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI will be taken up this weekend. Whilst I was in Rome last Sunday I noted that it was being taken up in every church there.
This annual collection is taken up in every Catholic church throughout the world and ALL the money goes to those charities which our Holy Father wishes to encourage this year.
Fr. Paul Alperton of the Montfort Missionaries has written to thank you for your wonderful generosity on the occasion of the mission appeal - close on £1,000 was collected - truly a magnificent amount.
Please note that the parish office will be closed for the next two weeks as Gillian takes a well deserved break.

Sacred Heart High School, Hammersmith, Sunday 8th July 2 to 6 pm. All welcome ~ Rosemary McLaughlin to be DJ on the day! It will be great, the music, entertainment and food will be super. Karaoke, junior flamenco dancers, junior choir performing.
THERE IS COFFEE IN THE PARISH HALL AFTER THE MORNING MASS ON SUNDAY, DO COME AND JOIN US!!
