My Dear Friends,
It is always wonderful to have a few days holiday, but equally it's great to be back home! Once again I would like to take this opportunity of thanking Fr Edi for his kindness and care of our parish family whilst I've been away. As I said in last Sunday's "Newsletter" Fr Edi is far more than just a friend to our parish, he is a member of our family: we wish him a safe journey home and look forward to welcoming him back to his English home very soon!
During the summer months our regular daily Mass attendance numbers tend to fall away. This is, of course, to be expected whilst people go away for holidays etc., but it is non-the- less a real disappointment.
Ask yourself, is it impossible for me to get to Mass during the week? Christ gives us His Body and Blood for our 'journey' every time we come to Mass; an invitation accept more often. Lord, help me to make time!
Finally may I draw you attention, once again, to the numerous posters in the porch about a huge variety of church activities? Do spare a moment to take a look.
God Bless.

"THE WESTMINSTER RECORD"
"The Westminster Record" is still available in the church porch. An extra 50 copies are on sale. Please remember that if they do not sell, which would be a great shame, they will be discontinued.
