The Father Who Draws Us To Himself.

Holy Hour and Benediction

My Dear Friends,

Tuesday of this week is the Feast of the Assumption and a Holy Day of Obligation.

Sadly there are very few Holy Days left in the calendar ~ thus all the more reason for us to observe well those that are left. Holy Days are one of the defining aspects of being a Catholic and as such we are obliged to be at Mass on such days.

There will be two Masses here at St Greg's, one at 10 am and another at 8 pm. I do hope that we will be able to give due honour to our Blessed Lady on this great day. If at all possible we shall sing at the evening Mass.

It is just three weeks now before our great festival day. There are lists in the porch asking for help with the catering on the day. If you are able to help would you please sign up as soon as possible.

God Bless,

1st RECONCILIATION AND 1st HOLY COMMUNION

Parents of children hoping to make their 1st Reconciliation and 1st Communion in 2006/2007 are asked to collect a registration form from the church porch and to return the completed application to the Presbytery before 10th September. These forms are for children who will be in Year 3 (or above) from September 2006.
