Holy Hour and Benediction

My Dear Friends,

I must begin by thanking the small band of helpers who came out on the Bank Holiday to tidy up the church grounds for our day of festival. There was a truly joyful spirit amongst us, and although we had to dodge the showers, a good deal of work was done. With these thanks in mind, I do hope that many of us will be able to help out during our festivities this weekend?

It is always a particular joy to see the children who made their 1st Holy Communion children earlier this year in all their finery! This is a great day for them; let us hold them, and all our community before God in prayer. Perhaps this is also a good opportunity to remind parents that next years forms must be in by next Sunday!

May we continue to witness to our faith joyfully and well here in South Ruislip; and so bring others to love and worship the Lord Jesus Christ.

I do hope you all have healthy appetites for there will be an enormous amount of food to consume. As always the parish comes up trumps on such occasions. Many thanks to all those who have worked so hard to prepare for our festival Let's have a truly holy and happy day.

God Bless.

P.S:- Please note that the Sacrament of Holy Baptism is to be administered at the 10 am Mass next Sunday.

1st RECONCILIATION AND 1st HOLY COMMUNION

These forms are for children who will be in Year 3 (or above) from September 2006.
