JESUS, THE MEDIATOR OF THE NEW COVENANT

God made the new covenant of his love with
the poor, the lowly, the down-trodden and
the oppressed. It is therefore in a spirit of
humilty, the spirit of Jesus, that we make
our celebration today, asking him to accept
the homage of the humble.

My Dear Friends,

I would like to start by thanking Fr Joseph Thangaraj and Fr Martin McPake for covering the Masses whilst I have been away. I am deeply grateful for their help and support. Perhaps not surprisingly I needed a good break. But it will be strange to be "home alone", and I am thankful for your continued love.

Next weekend we shall be celebrating our great day of festival - the Feast of St Gregory the Great. I feel quite sure that much help is still needed and do hope that many of you are able, in whatever way you can, to help out in making this a truly family celebration. I know I'm looking forward to catching up on all the news.

Gillian will be very happy to receive any calls from you, regarding the above, at the presbytery - any weekday morning between 8.30 and 11.30 am.

God Bless.
