Christ, The Son of Man.

We worship the man Christ, who accepted
every weakness of our human condition,
renouncing himself and taking up the Cross.

My Dear Friends,

Last year we had a very successful visit by a member of the St. Joseph's missionary society and a great number of us signed up to have an APF (red mission box) in our home.

In just a few weeks it will be time for the annual APF collection and time to return our boxes for this year.

Please feel free to drop them round to the presbytery at any time, or if this is inconvenient do let me know and Mrs Thornton, our local secretary, will be happy to pop round and collect them.

Finally on this matter, the latest issue of the APF magazine is available at the back of church. These are primarily for those of you who are registered members ~ please take your copy, and any that rely on you for their distribution, after Mass this weekend.

This weekend we focus our attention on the spread of the gospel in our own land; this is Home Mission Sunday and our prayers are asked especially for the work of the Catholic Agency to Support Evangelisation.

God Bless.
