My Dear Friends,
In four weeks time Bp Alan Hopes will be with us for the whole weekend; during his "Visitation" (for that is what it is called) he will be meeting with as many members of our parish as is possible.
Naturally he will wish to meet with our Catechists, the Finance Committee and other groups, but he is also happy to meet privately with anyone who has a particular pastoral problem. If you would like to "book" some time with him please let me know as soon as possible.
Now that the summer holidays are well and truly over our church is often full to overflowing! This is wonderful, but it does mean that the volume of noise often becomes quite over-whelming and this is a real problem before Mass.
If we are tempted to chat to friends before the Mass begins, we are denying others the chance to pray and prepare, which is what we should all be doing. Please, let our time in church be joyful and reverential. Talk to God before and during Mass and to each other afterwards! Thank you.

THE RELICS OF ST THERESE OF LISIEUX
will be at Westminster Cathedral from 12th to 15th October. The list for those wishing to visit is still in the porch. Please let me know if you wish to go to a ticket only event, please indicate this and I will endeavour to get them. A "Novena of Prayer" will be held at the church of St Therese at Hatch End beginning on Wed. 23rd September after the 9.30 am Mass and ending on October 1st the feast day of St Therese.

Application forms for admission to the nursery for children born between 1/09/06 and 31/08/07 are now available. Please note the closing date for applications is noon on Friday 25th September 2009. Parents will be notified of the outcome of their application on 5th Oct 2009.
DON'T FORGET! THERE IS COFFEE IN THE PARISH HALL AFTER THE MORNING MASS ON SUNDAY.
