My Dear Friends,

As I said in the newsletter last weekend, important decisions are taken by parents at this time of the year with regard to the Transfer of their children into Secondary school; a letter about making this decision is still available in the porch and in the school office.

This letter, which I hope will be helpful to all parents, has been signed by Fr Duncan at the Sacred Heart in Ruislip, Fr John at St Thomas More in Eastcote and by myself and is all about the importance of Catholic education in the lives of our children. I commend it to you. Please read it carefully and prayerfully.

Please note that the CAFOD Family Fast Day envelopes will be collected both this weekend and next. There was some confusion as to the exact date of the 'fast' - two dates emerging from the diocese - which didn't help. But the importance of the cause far outweighs the date on which we observe the fast. In line with this we shall be keeping the Harvest next Sunday.

Finally my thanks to Fr Michael for coming to help out this Saturday evening. I am away conducting the wedding of a former Altar Server of mine at Palmers Green.

God Bless.
