My Dear Friends,
The meditation booklets = Your Kingdom Come are still on sale in the porch. They are an opportunity for us to explore the scriptures, to grow in our faith and to develop our understanding of what it means to be a Catholic. They cost just £1 and are quite excellent. They begin this Sunday the 28th of the Year.
If there is a group of people who would wish to use the books together, I would be very happy to give them my support and help in starting such a group.
As in previous years I am hoping to run a series of talks for any adult who is thinking about becoming a Catholic. These talks are also for any adults who failed to make their Confirmation at the traditional time and wish to do so now. The first of these will be on Sunday 25th Oct. at 3 pm.
Finally we look forward to welcoming Bp Alan Hopes next weekend. Do come and meet him after the 5.30 pm and 10 am Masses.

ST GREGORY THE GREAT - Sunday 18th October

November is the month devoted to the Holy Souls. There are envelopes and prayer lists in the porch for your use. Please return them with your offerings for these Masses to the Presbytery.
CONFIRMATION 2010
Those who wish to be Confirmed and are in Year 9 or above are invited to collect a form from Fr Dennis after Mass on Sundays. Forms may only be collected by the candidate themselves. Applications will NOT be accepted after 25th October.
