My Dear Friends,

The booklet of daily meditations "Sharing in His Life" (which begin today) is still on sale in the porch. They cost merely £1 and are quite excellent. I do hope we will use them actively in our lives of prayer. Sadly only one person has come forward to ask about using the booklet with others; but it is not to late! Let's try and get this wonderful initiative up and running.

In the not to distant future I am hoping to start up a group for post-Confirmation young adult Catholics, to look seriously at issues of our faith that bring us into conflict with our modern world! Abortion, Justice and Peace, Marriage - to name just a few. This group will be for those who are 17+ and who genuinely want to learn why the Church teaches what she does! Let me have your name if you are interested and we can talk further about this.

Finally I would like to draw your attention to a special festival of Catholic culture to be held at Westminster Cathedral Hall on 3rd November. Admission is free. There will be displays of books, art, and music as well as guest speakers. There are flyers in the porch with more details.

God Bless.

RED CAPS 2008

CONFIRMATION 2008

Those wishing to make their Confirmation and who are in Year 9 or above are invited to collect a form from Fr Dennis after Mass from next Sunday. Please note that forms may only be collected by the candidate themselves, furthermore they must be resident in this parish - if in doubt speak to Fr Dennis. Applications will NOT be accepted after Nov. 4th

NOVEMBER DEAD LIST

November is the month devoted to prayer for the Holy Souls. There are envelopes and prayer lists in the porch for your use. Please return them with your offerings for these Masses to the Presbytery.
