My Dear Friends,

It was a real pleasure to welcome Bp Alan Hopes to the parish last weekend for his formal 'Visitation'.

He was truly delighted to be with us and on his departure he was keen to stress what a vibrant and joyful community he had found and was truly thankful for all the work that so many people do to witness to the Gospel here in south Ruislip.

We have much to be thankful for here in our parish. Let us pray that we may continue to be a community where the love of God is made manifest to all.

The APF (Red Boxes) and last Sunday's collection has made it possible for us to send just under £1,000 to the missions: truly a wonderful amount. Thank you for your generosity. Your empty boxes may be collected from the table in the porch! If you handed in a box without a label, or you wish to become a regular contributor, please help yourself to a spare box.

Finally a reminder about the talks for those wishing to learn more about the Catholic Faith. The first "get together" will be next Sunday 1st November at 3 pm. (please note change of date - sorry about this!!).

God Bless.
