My Dear Friends,

There are many people for us to 'remember' during this month dedicated to the Holy Souls, but this weekend our thoughts should turn especially to all those many men and women - of many nations and faiths who have died and continue to die as a result of warfare and violence.

Only this week we have been reminded, all too tragically, of the violence and horror of war and intolerance.

So let us use this weekend, with its focus on the stillness of remembrance, to pray for peace. To pray for those who have died in war, and for those who continue to suffer as a result of man's inhumanity to his fellow man.

Finally thank you so much for your kind and generous support last weekend for the annual collection in aid of the 'Sick and Retired Priests Fund'

The final total has not yet been determined and there is still time to make a contribution if you wish. But most importantly of all - THANK YOU FOR SHOWING YOU CARE!!

God Bless.
