33rd SUNDAY OF THE YEAR

The Eternal Perfection Of All Whom
Christ Is Sanctifying

We celebrate today the final consummation at the end of time.
Each Mass continues Christ's redemptive work in the world

My Dear Friends,

On Wednesday and Thursday of this coming week there will be workmen in church doing some repairs to the concrete supports of the pews. This work must be done, but it will, inevitably result in some disruption and mess.

The work will begin after Mass on Wednesday morning. If you are able to 'lend a hand' with the extra cleaning that will result please come along on Saturday at 8.30 am to help our regular and wonderful team of church cleaners - they are always glad of extra help.

Please note the extra Mass of Remembrance that is being offered on Tuesday evening of this week. Full details may be found below?

Gillian will be selling Christmas Cards, with a religious theme, after Mass to help raise funds for out church and parish. I do hope that you will feel able to give her your full support.

Finally it has become necessary to lock the church after Mass each morning as the candle boxes are being emptied when no-one is around!

This is a sad situation, which cannot be allowed to continue. I am trying to sort out a more secure wall safe at Our Lady's statue but until such time the inner door of the church will be locked after the recitation of the Rosary.

God Bless.

MASS OF REMEMBRANCE

At 7.30 pm on Tuesday 17th we shall be having a special Mass of Remembrance. This special Mass, dedicated to the Holy Souls, gives us the opportunity of remembering those we have loved and lost. There will be an opportunity during Mass to come forward and light a candle for them before the altar of God
