TODAY IS PRISONERS SUNDAY

Saint Peter in Chains
(St. Peter Antiochian Orthodox Church)

The Eternal Perfection of All Whom Christ Is Sanctifying.

We celebrate today the final consummation at the end of time.
Each Mass continues Christ's redemptive work in the world
and brings us nearer to the final Mass when that work of sanctification will be complete.

Sue Harding has once again been kind enough to arrange a "Family Photo Day". Richard, our generous photographer will be here on Saturday 2nd December from 9 am onwards. A photo is an excellent Christmas gift. If you want to book a slot for that day, then do get in touch with Sue on 01895 676100.

Please note the slightly altered schedule of Masses this week. Firstly I would draw your attention to the special Mass of Remembrance on Wednesday evening (see notice below). On Friday of this week I have to assist at a funeral on the south coast. Hence there will be no Mass here on that day. However Mass will be offered instead on Thursday morning so that the Mass intentions of our community are not disrupted.

Every week a number of new posters go up in the porch about events around the diocese and deanery. Do look at them from time to time so that you may not miss out on important events.

God Bless.

YOUTH CLUB DISCO.

MASS OF REMEMBRANCE

At 8 pm on Wednesday 22nd we shall be having a special Mass of Remembrance. This Mass, during this month dedicated to the Holy Souls, is to give us the opportunity of remembering, those we have loved and lost. There will be an opportunity during Mass to come forward (if you wish) and light a candle of remembrance for them before the altar of God

COME AND SING!

You are invited to come and sing in a special Diocesan choir at the concluding Mass of the FORTY HOURS DEVOTION at Westminster Cathedral on Saturday 25th November. Further details from the poster in the porch.
