THE TRIUMPH OF GOD

The day is coming when all that is evil
will be brought to nothing. Already Christ
has given us the strength to overcome evil:
we receive it in the Eucharist.

My Dear Friends,

The Human Tissue and Embryos Bill is going to receive its first reading in the House of Lords this Monday

The Bill proposes, among other things, the creation of pure hybrids (i.e. the fertilisation of a human egg with animal sperm and / or the fertilisation of an animal egg with human sperm).

There are plans afoot for a coordinated protest for which we need young people (student age) and ladies and gentlemen. It will take place during the day and will aim to generate media coverage, which a similar protest over cloning proposals achieved. If you are able to attend and have friends who can, contact Matthew on 020 7240 1276.

Finally our annual Mass of Remembrance will be at 8 pm this Wednesday. This Mass, during this month dedicated to the Holy Souls, is to give us the opportunity of remembering, in a special way, those we have loved and lost. There will be an opportunity during the Mass to come forward (if you wish) and light a candle of remembrance for them before the altar of God.

God Bless.
