OUR TRUST IN THE LORD

Nothing in this world can rob us of our peace of mind

My Dear Friends,

The season of Lent is upon us! There will be two Masses on Ash Wednesday (this wek) at which the Imposition of Ashes will take place. As usual, and when possible there will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on Wednesday and on Saturday mornings from 10.30 - 11.30 am as well as on Friday evening from 6.30 pm until the Stations of the Cross at 7.00 pm.

As mentioned in last weeks' newsletter, there will be a study course "Life to the Full" bringing the Bible to life after the Stations of the Cross from about 8 - 9 pm. I do hope some of you will wish to attend these classes.

All of these extra services etc., are given to us as an opportunity to pray, to reflect and to learn more about our faith. Lent is the most important part of the Christian year for us to do so.

Finally the latest issue of the "Walk With Me" booklets, specially written for these 40 days are now on sale in the porch. As always they are of a very high standard and really first rate. £1 a copy - money in the wall safe please.

God Bless.
