Our Trust In The Lord

My Dear Friends,

I would like to start this weekend by thanking Frs. Ray, Stephen and Roger for coming to say the Masses whilst I am away at the diocesan pilgrimage directors meeting in Lourdes. They have all been to see us in the past and I know you will make them most welcome.

As I mentioned last weekend, Lent will soon be upon us! With this in mind the Diocese has produced a Lent faith sharing resource, A Holy Nation, that it hopes we will all find useful.

Each booklet, which continues to be on sale in the porch, includes daily meditations and reflections which can be used in small groups and/or individually. Each of the daily meditations and the group sessions is supported by a variety of church documents as well as by the Catechism of the Catholic Church and every session concludes with prayer.

The list for you to sign - if you wish to be part of a faith sharing group during the season is in the porch.

Mrs Gail Williams, who co-ordinates the Monday Club, will be unable to do so for much longer due to work commitments. We are enormously grateful to her for all her work, but need to actively seek a successor!! Do consider, very seriously, if you an help with this very important parish outreach.

Finally can I draw you attention to the notice below about next Sunday afternoons special Mass? I do hope that many of us be

God Bless.
