Exposition and Benediction

My Dear Friends,

I must start this weekend by thanking you all for your wonderful generosity last week!

You will recall that we were taking up the annual collection for the "The Priest Training Fund", and as a result of your kindness we have been able to send the diocese well over a thousand pounds.

All of this money will be used to support those who are preparing for the priesthood and to ensure that we maintain our seminary for future generations. Thank you!

Today is also the start of our parish First Holy Communion season. Let us pray for the children who are taking this important step in their lives. May it be a day of joy and remembrance for them and their families.

I would ask you also to remember in your prayers our Catechists. They work tirelessly to communicate the Faith to our young people, and although we have a wonderful team, we are always on the lookout for more volunteers. Why not think about this? And finally let us take the opportunity of treasuring those we have - they are a tremendous group of people!

God Bless.
