My Dear Friends,

As you go out from church this weekend you will be handed a very important message from the Cardinal. Do take time to read it and if at all possible write to your MP to express your concerns. There are few things more effective in persuading Parliament to act, than writing a letter!

So what should I write? Letters are most effective when they are written in your own words and express what you are most concerned about. The Cardinal's letter highlights very well our areas of greatest concern and will be very useful when you write.

You can find the name of your MP online: www.parliament.uk/people or by phone on 020 7219 4272. An Email is also very effective and perhaps easier - their address can be found at www.writetothem.com

Please do not ignore this plea and should you need some help don't hesitate to ask!!

God Bless.

P.S. - As a result of your kindness, we were able to send over £600 to CAFOD. Thank you.
