My Dear Friends,

Next Sunday afternoon we shall be having our Carol Service and this will be followed by a mince pie and glass of wine in the hall! I do hope that a number of us will be able to come along for this service as part of our preparation for Christmas.

I would also like to draw your attention to the concert of Carols in aid of the Lourdes Pilgrimage. Getting the sick to Lourdes every summer is a hugely expensive enterprise, and fund raising goes on throughout the year to make this possible. This concert is one of the main ways in which we make this possible. Just one of our guest readers this year is to be Celia Imrie the famous actress! It promises to be a wonderful evening, I look forward to seeing you there!

In the porch this weekend: the Diocesan Year Book, Parish Diaries and the December issue of the Westminster Record - as always a really good read. Please place the money for any of these items in the wall safe by the CTS booklets. Many thanks.

Finally, our "Giving Tree" is in the porch giving us the opportunity of reaching out to those in greatest need this Christmas.

God Bless.

CHRISTMAS POSTERS

Many thanks to the Knights of St Columba for providing us with the delightful Christmas posters to display in our homes. Please take one as you leave.

CONCERT OF CAROLS AND READINGS

in Aid of The Lourdes Pilgrimage, St James's, Spanish Place. December 21st. Concert begins at 7.30 pm. Tickets (£7) will be available at the door on the night. This is a truly splendid occasion.

PARISH CAROL SERVICE

Sunday 20th Dec at 3 pm. A traditional service of Carols and Readings, to be followed by a get-together in the hall. DO COME ALONG!!

"BUY A BAUBLE"

A group of youngsters from our parish are travelling to Lourdes to volunteer as Red Caps next July. If you would like to have someone remembered whilst they are there, how about buying a bauble for £5. The name of the person you want prayed for will be written on the bauble and placed on our Christmas tree. The youngsters will take the names with them to Lourdes and they will all be remembered at the Grotto. Letters will be given out after mass with full details.

DON'T FORGET! THERE IS COFFEE IN THE PARISH HALL AFTER THE MORNING MASS ON SUNDAY.
SEE YOU THERE!!
