My Dear Friends,
Next Sunday afternoon we will be having our pre-Christmas carol service; a wonderful opportunity to listen again to the word of God announcing the birth of the Saviour's birth. I do hope that a goodly number of you will be able to come along? The service begins at 3 pm.
A delightful and regular feature of our Christmas morning Mass has always been a very informal "Nativity Play" and I hope we will be able to do this again this year. Unfortunately the mum who co-ordinates this is unable to be at Mass on Christmas morning this year so we are looking for someone to take her place. I wonder could it be you?
The job is not onerous and the rewards amazing. PLEASE do consider helping out - if there were to be more than one mum - all the better. Speak to me soon please as time is short!
Finally, our "Giving Tree" is still in the porch giving us the opportunity of reaching out to those in greatest need this Christmas. Gifts can be left in the presbytery porch most days where they will be quite safe. Please don't leave them unattended in the porch.

CAROLS BEFORE CHRISTMAS
Sunday 19th December - 3 pm. "A Traditional Service of Carols and Readings ending with Benediction". There will be a get-together in the hall after the service.
