CHRIST'S ETERNAL GLORY

We celebrate today Christ's ascension to his eternal glory

My Dear Friends,

This has been a truly wonderful week for us as a Diocese, and the ceremony of Reception and Installation of Archbishop Vincent Nichols was a truly magnificent occasion.

A number of people - unable to get the time of - have asked me if there was any possibility of still seeing the ceremony?

If people are interested I am happy to show the DVD in the parish hall next Saturday evening at 7 pm. The ceremony takes about two hours but is well worth the time. Let me know if you are interested.

Please pray for the children who are taking this important step in their lives. May it be a day of joy and remembrance for them.

I would ask you also to remember in your prayers our Catechists. They work tirelessly to communicate the Faith to the next generation, and although we have a wonderful team in place, there is always room for more people to volunteer; why not think about this for next year? And finally let us take the opportunity of treasuring those we have - they are a tremendous group of people!

God Bless.

MASS OF WELCOME - EALING ABBEY - June 4th 7.30 pm

This special Mass to welcome Abp. Vincent Nichols to our area will be a wonderful opportunity for all of us to pray with and to 'meet and greet' our new Father in God. I do hope that many of us will be there. All welcome!!
