My Dear Friends,

I would like to thank you all for your kindness and generosity towards me over the Easter weekend. As I am sure many of you are aware the Easter collection makes up a vital part of a parish priest's income and as ever you have been wonderfully kind - thank you.

May I draw your attention to the notice about the 'Planned Giving Envelopes'. Please be sure to collect your box from the porch to save us the expense of postage. If there is any problem with your envelopes, or there isn't a box for you and there should be: please speak to Gillian at the presbytery and she'll sort it out! Gillian is in Mon - Fri 8.30 am to 10.30 am.

Finally on this Divine Mercy Sunday let us remember with thanks the message that lies at the heart of this devotion. It is that God loves us - all of us. And, he wants us to recognize that His mercy is greater than our sins, so that we may call upon Him with trust, receive His mercy, and let it flow through us to others. Thus, all will come to share His joy.

God Bless.
