My Dear Friends,

I would like to thank you all for your kindness and generosity towards me over the Easter weekend. As I am sure many of you are aware the Easter collection makes up a vital part of a parish priest's income and as ever you have been wonderfully kind - thank you.

The "Red Caps" would also like to say a big 'thank you' to everyone who supported the special 'afternoon tea' party last Wednesday. A special word of thanks to the organisers and those who made cakes etc. a total of £225 was raised.

Finally on this Divine Mercy Sunday let us remember with thanks the message that lies at the heart of this devotion. It is that God loves us - all of us. And, he wants us to recognize that His mercy is greater than our sins, so that we may call upon Him with trust, receive His mercy, and let it flow through us to others. Thus, all will come to share His joy.

God Bless.
