3rd Sunday of Easter

Christ With Us On The Way Of Life.
Christ has made known to us the true way of life

My Dear Friends,

As you go out of Mass this weekend you will be invited to take home a WEEF envelope, in anticipation of the annual collection which will be taken up next Sunday.

WEEF stands for "Westminster Ecclesiastical Education Fund": the fund that helps to pay for the men of our diocese who are training for the priesthood.

We are luckier than most other diocese' in this country in that the number in training is at its highest level for 10 years.

So please do take one of the appeal leaflets and an envelope home with you and return them to Mass next Sunday. Thank you.

Finally, during Lent, the number of people who got to Mass during the week increased significantly, and it is truly wonderful to see that this is being maintained. Why not consider joining them? What better way can there be for us to start each day than at the altar of God!

God Bless.
