My Dear Friends,
Our parish Social Committee are launching an exciting new parish initiative this weekend!
Starting from this Saturday there will be a fortnightly social gathering after the Saturday evening mass in the parish hall from 6.30pm to 8pm to enjoy each others company, to foster fellowship and to help us get to know one another better. There will be a cup of tea or a glass of wine to help us achieve this!
Also, on the first Saturday of every month (starting this coming Saturday) from 12noon to 2pm you can come along to the Church Hall and enjoy a Ploughman's lunch & a glass of wine or beer - and all for £2.00!
There are two large notices in the porch with further details. I do hope we will give our full support to these ventures.
Finally - Thursday of this week is the Feast of St Joseph the Worker and 'polling day'. This is an important day for us all - there will be Mass at 10 am on that day.

Applications for admission to the Nursery for pupils born 1/9/2005 and 31/8/2006 may now be submitted. Interested families are required to collect the relevant forms from the school. The closing date will be 16/5/2008. Parents will be informed of the outcome on 20/6/2008.
