My Dear Friends,

We now enter the most important week of the entire year - Holy Week. These holy days allow us to draw closer to our Lord as he goes up to Jerusalem to suffer and to die for our sins. We can never be worthy of His sacrifice, but at least we are able to journey with Him from the Upper Room to Calvary, and then on to the glory of the Easter morn! You may wish to pick up an article about Holy Week called "Praise for the Victory", which tries to say something about our keeping of these holy days.

There is still the opportunity for us to remember our loved ones at the altar of repose on Maundy Thursday, through our "Lilies for Remembrance". Please write the name of the individual or couple you wish to be remembered clearly on the list at the back of church and take an envelope for your donation. Please return this as soon as possible.

Please note especially the times of Confession before Easter, they may be found on the special Holy week leaflet. Do take a Holy week leaflet with you today. May we all have a truly Blessed and prayerful Holy Week.

God Bless.

P.S. Mass on Tuesday is at 9.30 am (not 10 am) to allow time to get to the cathedral.
