Sacrament of Confirmation

My Dear Friends,

We continue to pray for the children of our parish who are making their first Holy Communion over the next two weeks, and add to them this coming week our candidates for Confirmation.

Bp Alan Hopes will be coming to administer the sacrament next Saturday and we look forward to welcoming him. To be a mature Christian in society today is very difficult. I am proud of this wonderful group of youngsters - please support them with your prayers.

I would ask you also to remember in your prayers our team of Catechists. They work tirelessly to communicate the Faith to the next generation, and although there is always room for more people to volunteer for this task, the ones we have are tremendous - thank you!

Every now and again I like to draw your attention to the many notices on our church notice board. They contain a wealth of information, and I would encourage you all to take a look from time to time.

God Bless.
