My Dear Friends,

Last Thursday evenings Mass of Welcome at Ealing Abbey for our new Archbishop was a real delight and it was wonderful to see a number of you in the congregation. I was particularly impressed by the amount of time he gave to meet and greet individually everyone who was there; a real example of pastoral care.

This Sunday's Mass of First Holy Communion brings the season to an end and I would like, once again to remember in your prayers our team of Catechists who work tirelessly to communicate "the Faith" to the next generation.

Now our attention and prayer should move to our older young people who will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation next Sunday. Please pray for and ask for God's blessing on them and their hard-working catechists.

God Bless.
